This Week’s Atlanta Food Events

If you are moving to Atlanta and you love food, you are about to get really excited because the Atlanta movers at All My Sons Moving & Storage are always up-to-date about the local food action. Take a break from unpacking your moving boxes and check out the top food events taking place in Atlanta this week!

From October 15th-21st, the following Atlanta food events are featuring specials:

  1. Four Roses Bourbon Dinner: 6:30 p.m. at Article 14, there will be a three-course dinner and bourbon pairings for $65 per person.
  2. Steak! It’s What’s for Dinner: 6:30 p.m. at Preserving Place, chef Philip Meeker will be talking all things steak, including a dinner to finish, all for $75 per person.
  3. Highland Restaurant Week: All times and locations vary, but prices range from $10-$35 per person and you can get more information at highlandrestaurantweek.com.
  4. Intro to Basic Canning: 11:00 a.m. at Piedmont Park Conservancy, you can bring your apples and learn how to preserve them. The four hour class will include take-home jars of apple butter, bread and butter pickles, organic tomatoes, and a notebook filled with recipes.
  5. Rays on the River Riverside Pig Roast: At 12:00 p.m. at Ray’s on the River, this event features a hog roasting event and buffet with numerous accompanying dishes, all for $40 per person – a local favorite that you will probably see your Atlanta movers at too.
  6. Harvest on the Hooch: 1:00 p.m. at Chattahoochee Nature Center, top chefs from Muss & Turner’s, Seed, and Table & Main are throwing a farm-to-table garden party to raise money for the Center’s Unity Garden. Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for children; children 10 and under are free.

BOCADO Six Year Anniversary: 5:30 p.m. at BOCADO restaurant. The venue will be featuring specials for their anniversary. Get more info at www.bocadoatlanta.com.
