Atlanta Water Project Highlights Massive Self Investment

Atlanta neighborhoods are buzzing with the attention from main stream media this month. The FX show Atlanta, written, directed and starring Community’s Donald Glover, is a huge hit. But that’s not the only reason you should call an Atlanta moving company and make your way to our great city. Though a show like that does wonders for the city’s public image, it’s the investment that city officials are making that is going to chance the city forever.

Atlanta is going to invest $300 million into a water management project that will see a massive reservoir built to store water from the Chattahoochee River as well as a 300-acre park that will be the largest in the city. So why is this so important? The simple answer is that projects like this cause growth. Atlanta neighborhoods benefit from access to better water and less droughts lead to an improved quality of life, which in turn leads to more residents moving to Atlanta and then more commercial movers bringing business. A snowball affect.

Studies have shown that larger cities with greater populations have an increased minimum wage, increased quality and quantity of amenities and a greater productivity. This growth will affect all industries: from the local Atlanta moving company to the city hospital; it will be felt across the entire city.

Atlanta neighborhoods also have the added bonus of joining the ranks of major cities like New York, Denver and Chicago who are known for having the best water supply in the U.S. Major infrastructure projects like this have proven to have long lasting effects on cities and speculators say that Atlanta will experience a massive boost in growth because of this water project.

It’s great to see the city of Atlanta growing and changing and All My Sons Moving & Storage is proud to be a part of the ‘ATL’!
